Abstract

Familial polyposis coli is a rare autosomal dominant disorder characterized by the development of hundreds to thousands of adenomatous polyps in the large bowel. Thease polyps will degenerated into adenocarcinoma, if untreated. recently, this
disease is
recognized as the adenomatous polyposis syndrome which can involve the entire gastro-intestinal track.
We experienced 3 cases of familial polyposis coli. Two of these three patients were accompanied with gastroduodenal adenomatous polyp and underswent surgical resection of colon.
